Research Programmes and Grants

The "Saint Epifanios" Cultural Academy - Institute of Studies, Research and Culture, in collaboration with academics, educational and scientific bodies and institutions, aims to develop Research Programmes, for the realization of its goals.
Through specialized programs, it seeks to support innovative ideas and original research projects aimed at examining, strengthening, and advancing the culture of Cyprus. Additionally, through actions and programs, it aims to highlight Cyprus's historical, geopolitical, and geostrategic role as a bridge between East and West, as well as between religions and cultures.
It also focuses on examining topics such as literary production, theology, the study of manuscripts and languages, and generally on issues within the fields of the Humanities and Social Sciences.
By awarding Research Grants, the Academy seeks to support the on-site (in situ) research undertaken by academics, in archives, archaeological sites, ecclesiastical and other monuments, artefacts, in Cyprus, in an attempt to encourage an in-depth examination of the culture of Cyprus and its connections with other countries.
Research Grants could be awarded to university students at all stages of their studies, young scholars in the early stages of their research, senior researchers and academics, involved in the fields of the Humanities, Social Sciences, Arts and Culture, individuals and groups.
