The Holy Metropolis of Constantia and Ammochostos and His Eminence Metropolitan Vasilios established the "Saint Epiphanios" Cultural Academy in 2008. The Academy was reconstituted in 2022.

Η Ακαδημία αποβλέπει στην προώθηση της έρευνας και στη μελέτη και προαγωγή της πολιτιστικής, θρησκευτικής και φυσικής κληρονομιάς της Κύπρου, της Ευρώπης, και της ευρύτερης περιοχής της Ανατολικής Μεσογείου και της Μέσης Ανατολής. Από την ίδρυσή της, η Ακαδημία έχει αναπτύξει δραστηριότητα στους τομείς της Αγιολογίας, της Θεολογίας, της Ιστορίας και Αρχαιολογίας, της Γραμματολογίας, της Τέχνης, της Οικολογίας, της Εκκλησιαστικής και Παραδοσιακής Μουσικής. Ταυτόχρονα, μέσω προγραμμάτων και δράσεων αποσκοπεί να συμβάλει στην πολιτιστική και κοινωνική ανάπτυξη.

The activities of the Academy include the publication of scientific and other works, the organizing of conferences, seminars, lectures, events and exhibitions. The basic priority of the Academy is the establishment of the Institute of Studies, Research and Culture, the carrying out of research, scientific and educational programs, as well as the development of a Library, physical and digital, oriented towards the study of Cypriot Hagiography and the history and culture of Cyprus and the wider region.

For the implementation of its goals and development of its activities, the Academy collaborates with institutions and organizations in Cyprus and abroad.
