The "Saint Epiphanios" Cultural Academy in collaboration with the General Secretariat for Religious Affairs of the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs, and Sports of Greece, the Experimental School of the University of Athens, and the Diocese of Constantia and Ammochostosorganized on Monday, September 30, 2024, in Athens, at the "Evagoras Pallikaridis" Hall of the Experimental School of the University of Athens, an experiential event to mark the 50th anniversary of the Turkish invasion of Cyprus in 1974.
The central theme of the event was the slogan "We do not forget." Through the screening of audiovisual material and the presentation of symbolic objects, students were invited to deliver their own messages and express their thoughts on the issue of the Turkish occupation of Cyprus.
The event was held in conjunction with the book presentation of the work by Andreas Foulias and Christodoulos Chatzichristodoulou, "The Religious Monuments of the New City of Famagusta," Paralimni-Ayia Napa 2024, which took place the same day at the Experimental School of the University of Athens.

"A PLACE OF GLORY"
Experiential workshop with the support of ONEK (Youth Board of Cyprus)

The "Agios Epiphanios" Cultural Academy, with the support of the Youth Board of Cyprus, organized an experiential workshop for youths titled "A Place of Glory" on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at 6 p.m., at the museum-church of Saint Anna in Paralimni.
The experiential workshop took place in the context of the temporary exhibition (12 May-12 October 2024) dedicated to the occupied monastery of the Apostle Barnabas, titled "A Place of Glory". The Holy Monastery of the Apostle Barnabas. History - Legacy - Displacement.
The participants had the opportunity to interactively experience the exhibition. They discovered the artifacts and their stories, created their own pieces, and left thoughts and objects, adding their own voice to the exhibition.

Student Conference organized by the Ministry of Education and the Holy Metropolis of Constantia and Ammochostos titled "50 years of invasion and occupation: memories and hope."
Presentation of experiential activities by the "Saint Epiphanios" Cultural Academy followed by a guided tour of the exhibition "Agia Zoni of Varosha: 50 Years Later."
